Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the Studio Located and Where Should I Park When I Arrive?

What should I expect when I book an Intro Lesson?

Intro Lessons are 20 minutes long, comprised of a mix of dancing followed by discussion. You will have the opportunity to discuss dance goals, direction, and class package options with a member of our staff.

What should I wear to my lesson?

Attire: Please wear clothing that is comfortable to move in, and nonrestrictive. Athletic attire or casual clothing is appropriate.

Shoes: Ballroom Dancing Shoes are not required. If you do not own ballroom dance shoes, plan to wear shoes with closed backs that secure the shoe snug to the foot for movement without twisting. No flip flops.

What should I expect for a group class or social party?

You do not need to be a member or current Luna Ballroom student to participate in Group Classes or Social Dance Parties. These events both have an a la carte pricing built in for anyone who wishes to attend as a drop in. If it is your first time attending, please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes ahead of the start time to sign in with our staff.

Active students who have attended private lessons at Luna Ballroom within the last 30 days can attend Group Classes free of charge.

Both Group Classes and Social Parties are formulated to be a fun group experience and are suitable for all levels of dance experience, even first timers! Group Classes are 40 min in length, and Social Parties are 2 hours in length.

Social Dance parties are geared to rotate through all the styles that we teach at the studio, giving the opportunity for everyone to practice with fellow students and our instructors.
