A Message from Our Founder
I founded Casa Luna with the vision of creating a sanctuary — a place where individuals from all walks of life could come together, discover their potential, and shine in their own unique way. Dance is our vehicle, but the heart of our work is about transformation, compassion, and connection.
Like the sun, we aim to illuminate hearts by highlighting the stories and talents of those often left unseen. Like the moon, we nurture growth, reminding each person that every phase of their journey holds beauty and value. Through inclusive programs, charitable initiatives, and artistic expression, we bridge differences and bring people together in the universal language of movement.
This year, we are proud to expand our reach with new initiatives — from Dance for the Brave, our program honoring and supporting veterans, to the launch of Luna Stars, a kids’ program designed to nurture partnership, respect, and gratitude through dance. Alongside these, we are also growing opportunities for youth, seniors, and those with limited access to the arts. These programs are more than events; they are lifelines of hope, empowerment, and joy.

Ballroom Youth Program
A program of the Casa Luna Foundation in Partnership with Dr. Hawthorne’s Ballroom Dance Club.
Mission Statement
At Casa Luna Foundation, we believe that dance is more than steps — it’s a way to shape character and community. Through Luna Rising Stars, we introduce children to the joy of ballroom dancing while also teaching life lessons they can carry far beyond the dance floor.
Our 3 Guiding Principles

Partnership – Every dance begins with connection. Children learn how to work together, support one another, and build trust through the art of partnership.

Respect – From honoring their partners to valuing themselves, students practice mutual respect as the foundation of teamwork, discipline, and creativity towards each other and their teachers/mentors.

Gratitude – We encourage children to dance with thankful hearts — showing appreciation for their teachers, families, community, and the opportunities they have to grow.
Luna Rising Stars is where kids discover the joy of dance while learning partnership, respect, and gratitude — lessons that shine both on and off the dance floor.
